Dramatically sited on a hill overlooking the Sheepscot River, Castle Tucker tells the story of a prominent shipping family’s life on the coast of Maine over a period of 150 years. Castle Tucker offers a glimpse into the everyday life at the turn of the twentieth century. Nickels-Sortwell House is a National Historic Landmark and one of the region’s finest examples of high federal-style architecture. Pack your lunch for a picnic after at Fort Edgecomb.
