Visit to Michael Klahr Center. Video presentation about Michael’s Story. A short original film with artifacts of startling emotional resonance to tell the story of a hidden child of the Holocaust. For many Americans, the first awareness of the events taking place in Nazi Germany began with news reports on November 9th-10th, 1938 - Kristallnacht, or The Night of Broken Glass. Firsthand accounts, including one by Maine's Cantor Kurt Messerschmidt in this compelling story. Lunch out.
