REGISTRATION DEADLINE – JANUARY 12, 2018. Registrations will only be accepted beyond this date if there is space available and there will be a $10 late fee assessed.

Located less than an hour’s drive from South Portland, Lost Valley Ski Area in Auburn, Maine is one of the premier small learn to ski/ride mountains in Maine. In operation since 1961, Lost Valley offers a variety of 15 trails, mostly easy and intermediate, as well as terrain park and tubing area, making it the perfect place for kids to learn to ski/ride and have fun during the winter months!
 
This four-week program will be held on the following Sundays: January 21, 28, February 4, 11 (makeup date Feb. 18). Participants must sign up for all 4 weeks – no individual trip rates. Unfortunately, no refunds or vouchers can be issued for missed or cancelled trips.
 
The program will depart SPCC each week via school bus at 9:00 am and return by 4:00 pm.

  • Program will depart from and return to the South Portland Community Center parking lot.
  • Helmets are required and available to rent for an additional fee.
  • All participants are strongly encouraged to enroll in lessons.
  • Lessons will run from 10:30 am - Noon each Sunday
  • End of day tubing option (2-3pm) - additional $55.00
  • Chaperones Needed - contact Anthony Johnson at ajohnson@southportland.org if interested.
  • Mandatory Parent Meeting - Wednesday, January 17 from 5-5:45pm at SPCC Senior Wing.
