Biddeford Textile mill doors are open, with access to the unique underground canals! This tour will be led by a former mill worker who is passionate about the Pepperell and knows the history of these incredible buildings. Discover the details about the textile industry and the contributions made by local mill workers from the 1840s to 2009. Experience the grand scale of the spinning and weaving rooms, the soaring ceilings raised by stately columns and the rushing power of the Saco River. NOTE: You need to be able to climb minimal stairs. Walking shoes should be worn. No open toed shoes allowed.

We will stop for lunch following the tour at Mulligans in Biddeford. Lunch is on your own
