Height of Land cannot be described adequately in words. It must be experienced. 360 degree views from the highest peak in the region. You'll want extra time here to absorb what you're seeing. This IS the top of the world. There is no food vendor here, no ice cream shop. Only 2 picnic tables. You won't need anything (maybe binoculars). On a clear day, you can see forever! There’s no official sign or designation but you’ll know when you’re there. Driving along Maine State Route 17, the land abruptly drops off to the west and the view opens up to the far edges of the Maine mountains at the New Hampshire border. Pack your own lunch and sit and enjoy the view!
