We invite you to get involved in one of the fastest-growing sports in the country! This program emphasizes individual skill development and game concepts. All players are welcome and will be placed on gender and age-appropriate teams (grades 3/4 together and grades 5/6 together). Please note that travel is required for this program.
- Boys and Girls 3rd/4th: 7 field players and a goalie (2 defense, 2 midfield, 2 attack)
- Boys 5th/6th: 10v10 full field (3 attack, 3 midfield, 3 defense, goalie)
- Girls 5th/6th: 12v12 full field (4 defense, 3 midfield, 4 attack, goalie)
The final registration deadline is Friday March 6th , 2026 ( CHANGE FROM BROCHURE) . Registrations submitted after this date will only be accepted if there is space available on a team. This program is for South Portland Residents Only.
**Games & Practices:**
* Games will be held on Sundays starting in May running Through June.
* Practices will begin in early April at Wainwright Fields.
* Practice days and times are tentative and subject to change based on coach availability.
* There will be no games on Memorial Day Weekend.
**Equipment Needs:**
* Boys will need shoulder pads, arm pads, a helmet, gloves, a mouthguard, and a stick.
* Girls will need a mouthguard, eye guard, and a stick.
