South Portland Summer Rec Camp 2021 Information Page!


It’s that time of the year again. We are excited to inform you that we are working diligently to develop our summer programs for 2021. 

The summer of 2020 brought a lot of challenges to our community as many camps were impacted by the global pandemic. Fortunately, we were able to create
and provide one of the few recreational summer camps in our area with the help and guidance of our health and safety officials. See our Summer Camp Fun Video for 2020.

We have many exciting things planned for this summer! We will continue to follow state guidelines and develop COVID-19 prevention protocols, so as we get closer to the summer the information on this page is subject to change. 

Our Summer Camp program provides a safe and welcoming community that challenges and nurtures fun, individual and community based growth, activities that help children discover their individual skills and abilities, and many opportunities for our campers to establish strong connections with their community. Each of our Summer Camps is crafted with all the necessary tools for your children to experience an unforgettable summer.

We love creating well rounded programs where our campers have the opportunity to explore different skills through ART, SPORTS, COMMUNITY OUTINGS, OUTDOOR PLAY and SPECIAL EVENTS.

**South Portland Summer Rec Camp is only open to residents of South Portland**

REC SUMMER CAMP  
~ Start date is subject to change based on the last day of school. Times and Locations are tentative. ~

Camp Dates: June 21st - August 13th...(No Camp 7/5)
Camp Hours: 8:00 am - 5:30 p.m. Monday - Friday
Camp Names and Locations:

         Kinder Camp (entering Kindergarten): Small Elementary School
         Little Riots (entering 1st/2nd grade): Small Elementary School
         Big Riots (entering 3rd/4th grade): Brown Elementary School
         5/6 Camp (entering 5th/6th grade): Mahoney Middle School

Pricing Options:
* A 50% deposit for each child is required at the time of registration. The remaining balance must be paid off by Friday, June 11th in order for your child to attend camp.

          Full 8 weeks - $875
          Pick a week - $125/week (100% due at registration)

Registration Information
Full Camp registration deadline: Friday, June 11th
Pick-A-Week Registration deadline: Week 1 is due by June 11th.
Pick-A-Weeks 2-8 are due the Wednesday before desired week.

Registration opens: Monday, May 3rd-ONLINE ONLY (please see times below)

          8:00 am - Kinder Camp (entering Kindergarten)
          9:00 am - Little Riots Camp (entering 1st/2nd grade)
        10:00 am - Big Riots Camp (entering 3rd/4th grade)
        11:00 am - 5/6 Camp (entering 5th/6th grade)


TEEN EXTREME CAMP (entering 7th/8th grade)

Camp Dates: June 21st - August 13th...(No Camp 7/5)
Camp Hours: 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday
Camp Location: Redbank Community Center

Pricing Options: 
* A 50% deposit for each child is required at the time of registration. The remaining balance must be paid off by Friday, June 11th in order for your child to attend camp.
