Calling all nature-loving kids! We want you to become a Jr. Ranger for South Portland Parks.

Our Junior Ranger program is back for its second year, this time at Hinckley Park. Join our park rangers to learn all about our parks and what it means to be a junior ranger. Kids will explore the park with the ranger, discover the nature around them and complete a workbook full of fun activities. At the end of the program, each kid who participates will receive a badge and be recognized as an official South Portland junior park ranger! The badge is different than last years, so kids who participated in 2022 are encouraged to join in again.

We will have 3 programs throughout the summer, so you can sign up for the date that fits your schedule:

Kids must be accompanied by an adult. Pre-registration is required.
