Are you eager to explore the thrilling world of skateboarding? Look no further! We are proud to offer beginner skateboard lessons at our newly built skate park

Beginners Lessons
Our beginner skateboard classes are designed to provide a solid foundation for aspiring skaters. Our goal is to equip students with the essential skills and knowledge necessary to enjoy skateboarding and progress confidently. In these classes, you'll learn everything from the basics to the more advanced techniques, all while having a great time with fellow skaters.

Improvers Lessons
The Improvers Lessons are designed for those who have already completed the Beginners Lessons and are looking to continue challenging themselves. Patrons who have not completed the Beginners Course may still register for these lessons but must be able to display their competency in controlling their board.

At the South Portland Community Center, we believe that skateboarding is not just a sport but a way of life. Our mission is to empower individuals of all ages to embrace skateboarding as a means of self-expression, personal growth, and community building. We are committed to creating a supportive and inclusive environment where beginners can flourish and experienced skaters can continue to develop their skills.

Meet the Coach: Skate Coach Hunter Finden has been sharing his expertise and love for skateboarding since 2018 when he began teaching at the renowned Homage Skateboard Academy in Brooklyn, NY.
