Slimescapades! : Get ready to get slimy with this super slime-tastic chemistry-based workshop! Make a new slime every day, do experiments to create polymers and other materials, and have a blast with chemical reactions. Come join the messy, slimy side of science fun! Min 8/Max 14
STEAM Sampler (NEW!) : This workshop provides an introduction to STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) topics through a sampler of engaging hands-on activities. Children will be introduced to concepts of physics, chemistry, electronics, engineering, art, and mathematics throughout the workshop. Each session includes creating several items using science, for children to keep at the end.! Min 8/Max 14
8-in-1 Solar Robot (NEW!): Build unique robots that are powered by the sun batteries not required! Using a compact solar panel, these cool little bots harness energy from the sun to power an electric motor to get moving. Build a drummer robot that marches along, beating a drum; an armadillo robot that does somersaults; a solar bug that crawls on six legs, and more! Use our free build and robotics kits to create your own designs. Come join us for some robot fun!Min 8/Max 14
Build-A-Thon (NEW!): This workshop is all about building. Learn the basics of the Engineering Design Process by using your own building kit to keep at the end of the week. Use our build kits to create new constructions and challenges each day. Invent and construct your own design using cardboard and other materials while learning to use basic tools. Min 8/Max 14
