Scarecrows are coming back to Hinckley Park this fall! And this year, you have the opportunity to build one of your very own.

Join us for a scarecrow building day and then visit your scarecrow in Hinckley all fall long. Participants of the scarecrow building day will receive all the basic materials needed to build and decorate a scarecrow (straw, pants, shirt, burlap sack head, markers & paint) either by themselves or with a group. Families, neighbors, clubs, businesses, and other groups are encouraged to participate together in their scarecrow creation. You can even bring a sign with your group or business name on it to hang up with your scarecrow. 

Each registration will get your group the materials for 1 scarecrow, so no need to register everyone. You are welcome to bring additional items to personalize your scarecrow as well! After you are done, we will hang up your scarecrow in the Scarecrow Patch for park visitors to enjoy! At the end of the fall, you are welcome to bring your scarecrow home to use again next year.
