Sebago Lake Water Treatment Facility treats drinking water for a fifth of Maine’s population. The tour covers ozone treatment, UV disinfection, and water quality tests conducted in the laboratory. Some walking required and you will need to navigate a few flights of stairs. No loose clothing and you must wear closed-toed shoes with a flat bottom. Safety glasses required in the laboratory. You will be required to sign a waiver prior to the tour.
