Children’s Yoga
Children’s Yoga is a class that incorporates yoga themes while playing games, practicing poses, and breathing exercises. Children learn Yoga while having fun! This program is an introduction and exploration of yoga for kids of all abilities. It includes basic principles of yoga that helps strengthen, stretch, and align the body and the mind. It also involves positive mentalities that can help with sustained focus, finding more inner calm, confidence, and self-validation.

Instructor Bio:
Heather is a certified yoga instructor with a background in nursing, bringing a compassionate and holistic approach to her teaching. She works with students of all ages—from prenatal to elderly—believing that yoga offers a unique kind of medicine for everyone. Heather has a special passion for teaching children’s yoga, where she finds joy in their curiosity, growth, and ability to learn so quickly. She currently teaches in the Greater Portland area, including children’s yoga at a local studio.
