Beginner Watercolor Sketchbooking
Street Scenes
This five class series will teach beginners how to complete street scene sketches with ink and watercolor. No experience needed. We will be learning how to use gesture, value, composition, and watercolor techniques to effectively capture storefronts, buildings, streets, and neighborhood scenes. All classes will include step-by-step instructions. All supplies are included in class.
Landscapes
This five class series will teach beginners how to create landscape sketches with ink and watercolor. Students will learn how to capture skies, trees, water, and seasonal scenery through loose sketching and watercolor techniques. We will explore gesture, composition, and value while learning to simplify natural scenes. All classes will include step-by-step instructions. All supplies are included in class.
Animals – Cats and Dogs
This five class series will teach beginners how to sketch cats and dogs using ink and watercolor. No experience needed. Students will learn how to use gesture, proportion, movement, and value to effectively capture the personality and character of animals. We will explore techniques for sketching a variety of breeds while developing confidence in drawing pets. All classes will include step-by-step instructions. All supplies are included in class.
