10:30 AM - 12:00 PM    Beginner Soft Pastel - Beginner Soft Pastel: Spring Flowers
Beginner Soft Pastel: Spring FlowersThis five class series will teach beginner pastelists how to draw and paint spring flowers with a focus on fun!  No experience needed.  We will be learning about value, composition, and color while enjoying the beauty of painting sunflowers, daisies, roses and wildflowers.  In addition, students will learn how to use pastels to achieve both a sketch and finished painting look.  All classes will include step-by-step instructions and traceables.Beginner Soft Pastel: Cats, Dogs, and Pet PortraitsThis five class series will teach beginner pastelists how to create realistic and interesting pet portraits using soft pastel, graphite, and charcoal.  We trace printed photos of loved animals and/or pets, which eliminates the need of drawing skills in the class.   In addition, students will learn how to use pastels to achieve both a dimensional and finished painting look.  All classes will include step-by-step instructions.  Beginner Soft Pastel: Fun ScenesThis five class series will teach beginner pastelists how to draw and paint people in landscapes including people at the beach, people walking on paths, at the market, an on city streets.  In addition, students will learn how to use pastels to achieve both a sketch and finished painting look.  All classes will include step-by-step instructions.  Instructor: Joan Quinn

Students will lean the fundamentals and basics of various styles of dance including jazz, tap, lyrical and hip hop through exercises and progressions. Flexibility and strength exercises will be incorporated into the class along with choreography. Students should bring a water bottle, wear comfortable clothing and have bare feet or wear ballet or jazz shoes if desired. Students should bring a pair of tap shoes to class or if they do not have tap shoes dress shoes will work fine.*the first date will be on Tuesday, January 16th to avoid conflicting with MLK Day* No program on 2/19 in observance of President's Day*No program on 4/15 in observance of Patriot's Day
 
5:30 PM - 6:15 PM    Intro to Hip Hop - Intro To Hip Hop Spring Session
This class will be broken up into 2 styles of dance, hip hop and acrobatics. Dancers will begin with hip hop, a warm up for the body and explore different hip hop concepts, styles and movement. Students will also be taught hip hop choreography.  During the second half of class, dancers will learn acrobatics skills, such as mat exercises, balance and strengthening skills, and basic tumbling, all taught by a certified instructor. A great class for ages 6 and up, for boys and girls of all levels!Min 4/ Max 14Scholarships available- Application linked below*the first date will be on Tuesday, January 16th to avoid conflicting with MLK Day* No program on 2/19 in observance of President's Day*No program on 4/15 in observance of Patriot's DayIntro to Dance and Intro to Hip Hop will start Monday, Jan. 22
