This class will teach you the best exercises to do, and how to do them with proper form so you get results and avoid injuries. You will learn what to do at the gym, or to just strength train at home with minimal equipment. Beginners will learn how to start, and intermediates will learn how to improve. Emphasis on strength, posture and balance. Please bring a mat!

This co-ed class incorporates a variety of equipment and training styles to challenge your body in new ways every week.Designed for all ages and fitness levels, Mix It Up! offers a supportive environment where beginners and experienced exercisers alike can build strength, improve endurance, and boost overall fitness.Tuesdays: Turn up the energy with heart-pumping interval training that burns calories and improves cardiovascular fitness.Thursdays: Focus on total-body strength training to build muscle, increase functional strength, and enhance everyday movement.No two classes feel exactly the same, but every workout is easy to follow, motivating, and guaranteed to leave you feeling stronger, energized, and accomplished. Classes are taught by Asya Vinokur, a former competitive rhythmic gymnast and owner of Maine Rhythmic Gymnastics. Through her local gymnastics school, Asya has introduced many children to this unique Olympic sport and is excited to bring rhythmic gymnastics to the South Portland community.
